How does the cooling system?
In a modern engine, only about a third of the heat produced during combustion is converted into mechanical energy to drive the vehicle. The rest is dissipated mainly by the exhaust system and through the cooling system.
The cooling system removes about one third of this heat circulate the coolant through the engine. (Coolant is a mixture of water and a special liquid concentrate which helps to inhibit corrosion forming in the engine). Heat is removed the radiator that uses air to cool the coolant.

Here are directions for driving and maintenance, as compiled by Natural Resources Canada, to help you save money and reduce the environmental impact of your vehicle. Don't forget to check the owner's manual as it will contain specific information on how to drive and maintain your vehicle for optimum performance and efficiency.

  • Reduce the speed. By decreasing the speed of 120 km/h to 100 km/h consumes about 20 percent less fuel. Slow down for driving safer and cleaner.
